Hello my name is Zack Gurganus. I grew up a Christian boy and raised by my parents. My Father is a pastor in lil Washington in North Carolina. My mother is a pianist for our church. I’ve always had a passion for art. I like to be different and unique. I went to South Central High School and took all art classes. My art teacher told me to stick with my talent for cartoons. To me art is what comes from inside you. When I see paintings of mountains or houses I tell my self it needs eye balls or brains with slime coming from it. I’ve always had a strange visual upon things. My grandmother had cancer and she passed away from fighting it all her life, she told me she wanted to see me become a famous artist and I told her I would pay for the medical bills. Her death took a lot from me and I became real depressed. I stayed away from art and went to paths I didn’t feel comfortable going through. When I was in high school I didn’t feel like talking or hanging with friends and before you know it my time was up and I graduated and was left with just my family. I look back to art and give it my very best and when I’m drawing, only I know what it really means. I love to make people smile because we need to spend as much time as we can being happy. Instead we worry and judge what we see or hear. Art makes this world interesting. If we didnt have art this world would be boring and have no life. David Trumble Of Oxford, UK

David “Trumble” is a 25 year old artist and cartoonist from Oxford, with work ranging from the irreverent to the narrative-based. In 2003 David wrote and illustrated a 265 pages graphic novel, “Climate-A Cinematic Novel in Three Parts”, which went on to win the Dan Hemingway Prize for Creativity that year and was subsequently published by the Blake Project. Between 2008 and 2001 David was a regular fixture for the Sun Newspaper, providing political cartoons for Trevor Kavanagh’s weekly political column as well as artwork for the Sports and Health sections. David studied film-making at the Arts University College at Bournemouth and continues to direct and produce short films and music videos as well as following his artistic passions on the page.

Igor Zakowski of Warsaw Poland

Born 14th April 1973 Igor completed his studies at the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
He studied at the Department of Graphic Arts exploring graphic arts and computer graphics as well.
He got his Master of Arts Degree in 2000. He has been working as an graphic designer, illustrator cartoonist and caricaturist for many years.
At present he cooperates with numerous publishers in terms of book and press illustrating.

Ukrainian born Alexei Talimonov is a successful and award-winning cartoonist and illustrator. He is a member of The Cartoonists’ Club of Great Britain and the FECO. Alexei has exhibited his works worldwide. His cartoons have been published in newspapers and magazines since 1978. Five books of his cartoons were published inRussia, Ukraine and UK. Also Alexei has illustrated several books. More then 5,000 of his drawings have been published in various newspapers and magazines in the UK, Russia, Ukraine, USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Iran, China and other countries. Amongst the British periodicals publishing his works are The Lancet, New Statesman, The Oldie, The Spectator, Prospect, Ethical Consumer Magazine, Writers’ Forum, Music Teacher and others.

In Russia Alexei Talimonov’s cartoons have been published in the leading newspapers and magazines of the country, such as Izvestiia, Pravda, Trud, Literaturnaia Gazeta, Krokodil, Zdorov’e, Argumenty i Fakty and others. Alexei Talimonov regularly participates in international exhibitions and contests. He himself is well known for his support of artists in Russia and other countries of the CIS. I advise on marketing/advertising, write articles and draw a daily cartoon.Since 2006 I have illustrated 15 published children’s books as well as illustrating 11 How-To-Outdoor books. Sherry Dole is a Mississippi based artist who is well-known worldwide not just for her whimsical animal art, but for her activism with animal rights and the environment. She has won numerous awards for her works. She is considered one of Mississippi’s state treasures for all her contributions in the arts (and with animals and environment).
